Se comprob\u00f3 que las corderas prepuberes de 3 meses de edad, se pueden considerar como donadoras de ovocitos para la producci\u00f3n de embriones in vitro, presentando una baja competencia de desarrollo, traduciendose en bajos porcentajes de maduraci\u00f3n in vitro., Esta competencia se ve elevada incubando previamente los complejos cumulus-ovocitos en un medio con altas concentraciones de 17-b-estradiol(12,5 ugr\/ml).  as\u00ed mismo se estudia el efecto de diferentes suplementos s\u00e9ricos y hormonales a\u00f1adidos al medio de maduraci\u00f3n. El medio m199 suplementado con un 10% de suero fetal, resulta un medio claramente insuficiente para la miv de ovocitos de cordera. La adici\u00f3n de un 10% de suero de oveja adulta ofrece los mejores resultados de viabilidad, junto con el medio suplementado con un 10% de suero fetal y 1ui de hcg.  la adici\u00f3n de la hormona, junto con el suero de oveja adulta no parece ofrecer ninguna ventaja, a la vista de los resultados.  la incubaci\u00f3n en medio m199 m\u00e1s 17-bestradiol, en periodos de tiempo de una hora y cinco horas, permite observar cambios a nivel del nucleo del ovocito, observandose una mayor presencia de nucleolos en ambos casos en relaci\u00f3n a aquellos ovocitos no sometidos a
