Pilar <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En esta memoria se presenta por primera vez la aplicaci\u00f3n de membranas catal\u00edticas intr\u00ednsecamente activas para la eliminaci\u00f3n de compuestos org\u00e1nicos vol\u00e1tiles (covs). Se ha pretendido un dise\u00f1o de reactor capaz de minimizar las resistencias a la difusi\u00f3n externa e interna que, a menudo, limitan el aumento de la velocidad de reacci\u00f3n en sistemas convencionales. El desarrollo de un combustor basado en la tecnolog\u00eda de membranas operando en modalidad de \u00abflujo a trav\u00e9s\u00bb est\u00e1 principalmente motivado por la mayor eficacia en el contacto gas-s\u00f3lido que puede conseguirse gracias al empleo de una membrana porosa debidamente modificada. En este paso del reactivo \u00aba trav\u00e9s\u00bb existe una alta probabilidad de choque de las part\u00edculas gaseosas con la pared del poro al estar trabajando en r\u00e9gimen de difusi\u00f3n knudsen. Se ha pretendido modular las propiedades de las membranas catal\u00edticas para poder ser aplicadas como un reactor de combusti\u00f3n de covs ef\u00edcaz a bajas temperaturas. La modificaci\u00f3n del soporte poroso de partida y la caracterizaci\u00f3n fisico-qu\u00edmica del material resultante (superficie espec\u00edfica bet, porosimetr\u00eda de hg, medidas de permeaci\u00f3n de gases puros, perfiles de distribuci\u00f3n axial y longitudinal del catalizador a lo largo del espesor de la membrana por xps y epma, difracci\u00f3n de rayos x, an\u00e1lisis morfol\u00f3gico y textural por sem, diagramas de reducci\u00f3n a temperatura programada tpr, medidas de adsorci\u00f3n por tg y medidas drift \u00abin situ\u00bb) han sido etapas previas y necesarias en la preparaci\u00f3n de las dos formulaciones de reactores de membrana estudiadas: membranas modificadas con pt\/ -al2o3 y membranas modificadas con perovskitas de la (lacoo3, lamno3, la0.8sr0.2coo3, la0.8sr0.2mno3).
