La presente mamoria ha cubierto los siguientes objetivos: estudiar los efectos sin\u00e9rgicos que aparecen en la copir\u00f3lisis sobre los productos considerados de mayor inter\u00e9s: olefinas ligeras y compuestos arom\u00e1ticos, analizando la influencia de determinadas variables experimentales: temperatura, presi\u00f3n y proporci\u00f3n de mezcla sobre dichos efectos sin\u00e9rgicos. Adem\u00e1s, se han caracterizado los productos s\u00f3lidos obtenidos y se han estudiado los principales mecanismos de las reacciones de copir\u00f3lisis.  el estudio se ha llevado a cabo con dos carbones procedentes de minas espa\u00f1olas, samca (ari\u00f1o, teruel) y figaredo (figaredo, asturias), de rango y caracter\u00edsticas diferentes y un residuo de la unidad de destilaci\u00f3n a vac\u00edo que repsol petr\u00f3leo posee en cartagena.  el trabajo se ha dividido en cuatro partes, copir\u00f3lisis anal\u00edtica, copir\u00f3lisis escala banco, caracterizaci\u00f3n de los carbonizados y mecanismos de la copir\u00f3lisis.  se observan efectos sin\u00e9rgicos diferentes seg\u00fan las distintas condiciones de temperatura, presi\u00f3n, proporci\u00f3n de la mezcla, tipo de carb\u00f3n y dispositivo experimental utilizado. Sin embargo, el producto fundamental obtenido tras la copir\u00f3lisis de carb\u00f3n y residuo es el carbonizado, por lo que su aprovechamiento limita la viabilidad global del proceso.  los
