Esmeragda <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los trabajos que conforman esta tesis tienen como objetivo fundamental estudiar algunos aspectos relacionados con los procesos de regeneraci\u00f3n de los callos meristem\u00e1ticos de ma\u00edz de la linea w64ao2 y su relaci\u00f3n con el metabolismo de las poliaminas (pas).  se observo durante la diferenciaci\u00f3n de brotes y pl\u00e1ntulas un incremento inicial del contenido de pas, mostrando que \u00e9stas actuan como moduladoras del proceso de diferenciaci\u00f3n y que tambi\u00e9n existe un umbral de concentraci\u00f3n necesario para iniciar el proceso. Respecto a las enzimas de s\u00edntesis de pas: arginina y ornitina descarboxilasa (adc y odc), se observa que la adc incrementa durante la diferenciaci\u00f3n, en callos y cloroplastos y se activa en condiciones de luz.
