La intercalaci\u00f3n por m\u00e9todos electroqu\u00edmicos modifica sus propiedades f\u00edsicas dando lugar en algunos casos a compuestos superconductores, y en otros a cambios notables en sus propiedades magn\u00e9ticas.  el trabajo incluye el estudio de la intercalaci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno en medio acuoso, asi como un medio novedoso en que se estabilizan iones per\u00f3xido y super\u00f3xido (mezclas eutecticas de nitratos a temperaturas inferiores a 235 c) la ventana electroqu\u00edmica de estos \u00faltimos se situa entre +2.5 y -2.0 v vs. Ag y permite la oxidaci\u00f3n de fases a altos potenciales no disponible en otros disolventes.  ejemplos de estas fases son manganitas de tierra rara y ca o fases mixtas laminares de ti y cu.  la caracterizaci\u00f3n de las fases oxidadas se lleva a cabo en relaci\u00f3n a sus precursores por m\u00e9todos de an\u00e1lisis qu\u00edmico y mediante difracci\u00f3n de rayos x, as\u00ed como medidas magn\u00e9ticas. Se observa segregaci\u00f3n de fases cuando la distribuci\u00f3n del tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula es amplio, y se trabaja a potencial constante, mientras que a corriente constante es posible trabajar
