Tras los genes se ha detectado la se\u00f1al consenso 7t para la terminacion de la transcripcion, asi como repeticiones directas y directas en tandem. Los ensayos de transcripcion indican que todos los genes se expresan a tiempos tempranos de la infeccion a excepcion de uno de ellos que lo hace a tiempos tardios.  todas las proteinas de la familia 505 se alinean sobre su extremo amino mostrando una gran homolog\u00eda.
