En este trabajo se ha encontrado que la ck2 aumenta su actividad durante la fase g1 temprana y la fase s del ciclo celular en un modelo de regeneraci\u00f3n hep\u00e1tica en rata. El aumento en g1 estar\u00eda relacionado con el aumento de una isoforma de bajo peso molecular de la subunidad catal\u00edtica. Adem\u00e1s, se ha descubierto que la prote\u00edna a2 del rna heterog\u00e9neo nuclear (hnrnp a2) es un substrato in vivo de ck2 en c\u00e9lulas hela. Adem\u00e1s ck2 y hnrnp a2 interaccionan directamente a trav\u00e9s de las subunidades catal\u00edtica y reguladora de ck2.
