Se ha desarrollado pues un sistema de revelado electroqu\u00edmico de las trazas controlado completamente por ordenador as\u00ed como la puesta a punto de un sistema de recuento de las trazas registradas basado en el an\u00e1lisis de im\u00e1genes visilog. La utilizaci\u00f3n del c\u00f3digo mcnp4a para el transporte de los neutrones junto con el programa denominado prot para el transporte de los protones han permitido la simulaci\u00f3n de la respuesta del dosimetro con sus distintas configuraciones en diversos campos de neutrones. se han realizado varias irradiaciones dentro de un marco de colaboraci\u00f3n europea para el estudio experimental de la respuesta del dos\u00edmetro, encontr\u00e1ndose una buena concordancia entre los resultados simulados y experimentales. La respuesta energ\u00e9tica del dos\u00edmetro es pr\u00e1cticamente plana desde energ\u00edas t\u00e9rmicas hasta neutrones de alta energ\u00eda.
