El entrecruzamiento del receptor con acms activa o inhibe las funciones celulares (lisis redirigida, producci\u00f3n de tnf&#8230;) En distintos tipos de clones nk. Se ha caracterizado la estructura del receptor inhibidor que est\u00e1 formado por la asociaci\u00f3n covalente de cd94 y nkg2-a, y tambi\u00e9n se ha demostrado que cd94 se puede asociar con nkg2-c y -e en c\u00e9lulas cos, pudiendo representar el complejo activador detectado en c\u00e9lulas nk. Para el estudio funcional del receptor se generaron transfectantes estables en la l\u00ednea de bas\u00f3filos de rata rbl, donde el receptor inhibidor es capaz de bloquear la liberaci\u00f3n de mediadores inducida a trav\u00e9s del receptor de alta afinidad para ige que se expresa en esta l\u00ednea celular. Se demostr\u00f3 como los mecanismos asociados a la funci\u00f3n inhibidora del receptor consisten, tanto en c\u00e9lulas nk como en los transfectantes de rbl, en la fosforilaci\u00f3n del receptor en las tirosinas de las secuencias citoplasm\u00e1ticas itim presentes en la subunidad nkg2-a, as\u00ed como en su asociaci\u00f3n a tirosina fosfatasas intracelulares (shp-1, shp-2).
