Los enfoques te\u00f3ricos cl\u00e1sicos- basados exclusivamente en rasgos o en conductas del l\u00edder-han resultado insuficientes para explicar por s\u00ed solos el desempe\u00f1o. Nuestro modelo se compone por dos bloques de condiciones antecedentes referidas al l\u00edder -i.E., Bloques de estructura (sus rasgos y posici\u00f3n) y de funcion (sus actuaciones)-, y por dos bloques de condiciones consecuentes referidas a la influencia del l\u00edder sobre su equipo y a los resultados organizacionales obtenidos -i.E., Bloques de subordinados y de objetivos, respectivamente-; con tres niveles anidados dentro de cada bloque, y con tres dimensiones anidadas dentro de cada nivel. Los subordinados son la fuente de evaluaci\u00f3n del l\u00edder. Como muestra se emplearon las evaluaciones de 64 subordinados sobre 11 supervisores en una entidad financiera, que se analizaron siguiendo un \u00abpath-analysis\u00bb. Los resultados indican que el modelo te\u00f3rico se ajusta a los datos, y consigue explicar la mayor parte del desempe\u00f1o financiero y comercial de las oficinas dirigidas por los supervisores; contribuyendo adem\u00e1s al conocimiento cient\u00edfico del lo y constituyendo una herramienta \u00fatil para el diagn\u00f3stico de organizaciones.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos
