Victoria <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Como contribuci\u00f3n al programa europeo denominado biotech ii hemos determinado la secuencia de un fragmento de dna perteneciente al brazo izquierdo del cromosoma vii de saccharomyces cerevisiae. En el fragmento secuenciado se localizaron nueve fases abiertas de lectura. Dos correspond\u00edan a genes anteriormente descritos y las restantes eran de funci\u00f3n desconocida. En la segunda parte del trabajo y dentro del programa europeo eurofan i, se analizaron las orfs ygl133w, ygl134w, ygl136c, ygl138c, ygl142c e ygl144c. A partir de estos estudios determinamos que el gen ygl142c est\u00e1 implicado en la s\u00edntesis del anclaje gpi. Ygl136c codifica una posible metiltransferasa, la interrupci\u00f3n de ygl133w afecta a la capacidad de cruce en la cepa de tipo alfa, e ygl144c codifica una probable lipasa.
