La evoluci\u00f3n de la actividad catal\u00edtica de los materiales preparados se realiz\u00f3 mediante el estudio de la reacci\u00f3n de condensaci\u00f3n de knoevenagel, de gran inter\u00e9s en qu\u00edmica org\u00e1nica ya que permite obtener intermediarios altamente funcionalizados y esta considerada una buena reacci\u00f3n test en las medidas de basicidad de catalizadores s\u00f3lidos. La condensaci\u00f3n de knovenagel, es una reacci\u00f3n catalizada por bases entre un compuesto carbon\u00edlico y un compuesto con grupos metil\u00e9nicos, activados por sustituyentes electrofilos, con formaci\u00f3n de una olefina y agua.
