En este trabajo se describen dos nuevas funciones de esta prote\u00edna implicadas en el mantenimiento de la homeostasis del sistema inmune. En primer lugar, utilizando como modelo la linea celular jurkat, se ha demostrado que p56!Ck es necesaria para la inducci\u00f3n de apoptosis tras la estimulaci\u00f3n del receptor clonal en c\u00e9lulas t activadas. Este proceso se encarga de mantener la tolerancia perif\u00e9rica y de limitar la expansi\u00f3n de la respuesta inmune. La tirosina p561ck participa en esta respuesta regulando la expresion del ligando de fas. En segundo lugar, hemos establecido la implicaci\u00f3n de p56!Ck en la inducci\u00f3n de supervivencia a trav\u00e9s del receptor de il-2 de afinidad intermedia en linfocitos humanos en reposo aislados de sangre perif\u00e9rica. Se ha caracterizado, adem\u00e1s, la v\u00eda de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n iniciada por esta quinasa, determin\u00e1ndose la participaci\u00f3n de la fosfatidilinositol 3 quinasa y de mediadores de la supervivencia celular como bcl-x y bcl-2.
