Como consecuencia de dicha fosforilaci\u00f3n se puede regular la estabilidad de los microt\u00fabulos. En las neuronas en crecimiento es necesario que los microt\u00fabulos se encuentren en un estado de dinamismo que permita el crecimiento axonal, para ello es indispensable que la prote\u00edna tau se encuentre parcialmente fosforilada. La fosforilaci\u00f3n de la prote\u00edna tau mediada por la gluc\u00f3geno sintasa quinasa 3 puede regular este proceso, de modo que esta quinasa es imprescindible para el crecimiento axonal, y todos
