Investigamos el papel de los orbitales moleculares en las propiedades electr\u00f3nicas de la uni\u00f3n.  propiedades de quimisorci\u00f3n de c60 sobre silicio (111)7&#215;7. La fuerte adsorci\u00f3n de estas mol\u00e9culas es investigada con t\u00e9cnicas de microscop\u00eda de efecto t\u00fanel.  su estructura interna es comparada con c\u00e1lculos \u00abab initio\u00bb, y determinamos el orbital molecular responsable de su aspecto.  utilizando el microscopio de efecto t\u00fanel demostramos la posibilidad de modificar las propiedades de adsorci\u00f3n de una mol\u00e9cula aislada.  la fuerte quimisorci\u00f3n de estas mol\u00e9culas sobre silicio provoca su descomposici\u00f3n cuando el substrato es calentado por encima de 800grados cent\u00edgrados.
