Se analiza la estructura del gen:  organizacion exon\/intron y secuencia. Se identifican las distintas formas de arn, que se generan por procesamiento alternativo de los exones ii y iii del gen, y por el uso de un sitio criptico de \u00absplicing\u00bb.  por ultimo, se analiza su homolog\u00eda tanto en estructura secundaria como en secuencia de aminoacidos con la familia de los proteolipidos.
