En un experimento de laboratorio bajo condiciones controladas se ha observado una mineralizaci\u00f3n de nitr\u00f3geno diferente en cada tipo de lodo; el aumento de metales pesados s\u00f3lo ha sido significativo en la fracci\u00f3n dtpa de zn y cu. Se ha mejorado las propiedades biol\u00f3gicas y bioqu\u00edmicas del suelo original con el aumento del carbono de biomasa y de las actividades enzim\u00e1ticas. En el experimento de campo los pat\u00f3genos desaparecen o est\u00e1n a nivel del control en el suelo. Se ha producido un aumento de la c.E. Y de los metales pesados con las dosis altas acumuladas, aunque sin riesgos de contaminaci\u00f3n y siempre dentro de los m\u00e1ximos legales admitidos. Ha habido un efecto positivo sobre la m.O. Del suelo con el aumento del cot y de las sustancias h\u00famicas, sobre todo con el compost. Se han incrementado adem\u00e1s los contenidos de los principales elementos nutrientes en el suelo.
