Mediante el an\u00e1lisis de la caracter\u00edstica corriente-tensi\u00f3n en funci\u00f3n de la temperatura, se han determinado los mecanismos de conducci\u00f3n de estos diodos.  para polarizaciones en directa y bajas tensiones, los diodos con un dopado de base (c-si) de na = 1016 cm-3 est\u00e1n dominados por mecanismos de recombinaci\u00f3n en la zona de carga de espacio del material no cristalino mientras que para tensiones m\u00e1s elevadas est\u00e1n dominados por conducciones limitadas por zona de carga de espacio (sclc). En diodos con un dopado de base superior (na = 1018-20 cm-3) aparecen mecanismos de conducci\u00f3n t\u00fanel a bajas tensiones y una zona resistiva a tensiones m\u00e1s elevadas.  . La existencia de un mecanismo de conducci\u00f3n limitado por zona de carga de espacio (sclc) ha permitido estimar la densidad de estados en la banda prohibida del silicio amorfo y del silicio-carbono amorfo.  . Se ha propuesto un nuevo modelo de circuito el\u00e9ctrico equivalente que describe el comportamiento de los diodos en directa. La validez y precisi\u00f3n del modelo se demuestra para tensiones en directa y diferentes temperaturas.  . Se ha determinado los mecanismos de conducci\u00f3n en transistores bipolares npn con emisor de silicio-carbono recocido. Los resultados indican que la corriente de colector esta dominada por difusi\u00f3n mientras que la corriente de base esta dominada por mecanismos de conducci\u00f3n t\u00fanel.
