El objetivo de este trabajo es la mejora del rendimiento de conversi\u00f3n fotovoltaica de las c\u00e9lulas.  mediante el an\u00e1lisis te\u00f3rico riguroso se ha identificado la recombinaci\u00f3n en la regi\u00f3n posterior fuertemente dopada como el mecanismo que limita la eficiencia. Para superar esta limitaci\u00f3n se proponen diversas estructuras en las que la difusi\u00f3n de aluminio en la cara posterior se realiza de forma localizada. Los potenciales beneficios de estructuras de este tipo son apreciables cuando se mantiene elevado el tiempo de vida en base de los portadores minoritarios de corriente y una velocidad de recombinaci\u00f3n en la interfase \u00f3xido\/semiconductor peque\u00f1a. En este sentido se han desarrollado esquemas de gettering de aluminio en puntos peque\u00f1os y relativamente cercanos y oxidaciones de silicio con adici\u00f3n intencionada de tca. La integraci\u00f3n de estas tecnolog\u00edas en el proceso de fabricaci\u00f3n supone una mejora en la respuesta de los dispositivos en la regi\u00f3n infrarroja del espectro as\u00ed como un aumento
