Se requiere que los sistemas que se construyan se independicen del usuario, que reconozcan un n\u00famero elevado de palabras, que operen con lenguaje producido de forma natural y que se mantengan sus prestaciones en cualquier tipo de entorno.  actualmente, la orientaci\u00f3n que se suele proponer para dar soluci\u00f3n a estos aspectos consiste en la aplicaci\u00f3n de determinados algoritmos, que proviene de \u00e1reas tandispares como el tratamiento de se\u00f1al, los modelos probabil\u00edsticos o la teor\u00eda de gram\u00e1ticas. La propuesta bio-inspirada que se desarrolla en la presente tesis, aborda el problema del reconocimiento del habla de una manera an\u00e1loga a como lo realiza el ser humano. Realiza el estudio previo de las se\u00f1ales de habla identificando los componentes frecuenciales b\u00e1sicos y que los caracterizan, adem\u00e1s de definir ciertas combinaciones de patrones que
