Estas industrias se caracterizan por una elevada variedad de productos y series muy cortas, lo que confiere una dificultad especial al problema abordado como consecuencia de la complejidad de este tipo de producci\u00f3n.  la tesis empieza investigando el estado de la t\u00e9cnica a nivel internacional y hace una cr\u00edtica desde la perspectiva del sector industrial elegido.  a continuaci\u00f3n se desarrolla un modelo adecuado para las industrias de referencia utilizando un enfoque multidisciplinar: teor\u00eda de sistemas, econom\u00eda industrial, optimizaci\u00f3n y tecnolog\u00edas de la informaci\u00f3n (cim). Las lineas maestras del modelo se centran sobre todo en dos cuestiones: integraci\u00f3n de todas las restricciones reales que caracterizan este tipo de industrias para garantizar la obtenci\u00f3n de soluciones factibles y planteamiento de un criterio de optimizaci\u00f3n de naturaleza econ\u00f3mica acorde con el objetivo de maximizaci\u00f3n del beneficio.  despues se dise\u00f1a un algoritmo capaz de obtener soluciones satisfactorias del problema y se desarrolla una herramienta inform\u00e1tica para su puesta en pr\u00e1ctica.  por \u00faltimo se demuestra la validez del modelo y se
