Los estudios realizados estan relacionados a:  &#8211; corrosi\u00f3n inducida por microorganismos de los materiales de inter\u00e9s industrial, tales como: cobre, aceros inoxidables 304 y 316. Las bacterias empleadas fueron: desulfovibrio desulfuricans, bacillus cereus variedad myocoides y bacterias sulfatoreductoras aisladas del medio natural marino, as\u00ed como el efecto sin\u00e9rgico de la mezcla de microorganismos. Los resultados fueron comparados con el comportamiento del mismo material frente al medio est\u00e9ril.  &#8211; comportamiento frente a la corrosi\u00f3n y la pasivaci\u00f3n del acero inoxidable 2205 utilizado en la fabricaci\u00f3n de correctores dentales (brackets). Para ello se utilizaron simulaciones con saliva artificial y una serie de microorganismos tales como: pseudomonas aeruginosa y proteus vulgaris.  los resultados obtenidos permiten un estudio comparativo entre varias t\u00e9cnicas electroqu\u00edmicas empleadas tanto en corriente cont\u00ednua como en alterna, desde el punto de vista de la reproductibilidad de los resultados y de la influencia del metabolismo bacteriano sobre el comportamiento de los metales. Las modelaciones empleadas permiten establecer en cada caso el mecanismo seg\u00fan el cu\u00e1l tiene lugar la corrosi\u00f3n o la pasivaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como su evoluci\u00f3n con el tiempo y
