Lividans sin afectar a la diferenciacion morfologica. Este regulador activa la biosintesis de actinorrodina y undecilprodigiosina, y noactiva la biosintesis de cda en s. Lividans.  aparentemente, no afecta a la biosintesis de metilenomicina en s.Coelicolor. La presencia de un codon tta en la secuencia de abab, convierte a este gen en una diana para el regulador pleitropico blda, al menos en s.  lividans.  la naturaleza y funcion de dos proteinas altamente homologas a abab sugieren que abab es un regulador implicado en la respuesta a stress oxidativo.  mediante hibridacion del gen abab con adn genomicos de distintas especies de streptomyces productores de antibioticos se ha podido comprobar la existencia de secuencias de adn homologas a este gen en todas las especies analizadas, por lo que se sugiere que abab es un regulador ampliamente representado en estreptoicetos indicando que desempe\u00f1a una importante funcion en la regulacion de la biosintesis de antibioticos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
