Para ello, el problema se ha simplificado al m\u00e1ximo: la evaporaci\u00f3n del combustible se ha inhibido y el chorro se inyecta en un ambiente en reposo. Por otra parte, siguiendo el enfoque propuesto por otros investigadores, el chorro bif\u00e1sico se ha tratado como un chorro equivalente al gaseoso, conservando la relaci\u00f3n de densidades (fluido inyectado\/ fluido ambiente) similar al caso de la inyecci\u00f3n diesel.  la metodolog\u00eda de trabajo comienza con un estudio bibliogr\u00e1fico del chorro gaseoso (en condiciones estacionarias y no estacionarias) y del chorro diesel.  este estudio permite determinar los principales par\u00e1metros de caracterizaci\u00f3n de los diferentes tipos de chorros.  siguiendo las conclusiones obtenidas del estudio bibliogr\u00e1fico, se propone un modelo de c\u00e1lculo (basado fundamentalmente en las ecuaciones del chorro gaseoso) que permite determinar la penetraci\u00f3n del frente del chorro pulsado y las distribuciones de velocidad y concentraci\u00f3n de combustible.  este modelo se valida en el caso del chorro gaseoso comparando sus resultados con los de un modelo tridimensional comercial (fluent). Para el caso del chorro diesel, la validaci\u00f3n se hace por comparaci\u00f3n con los resultados de medidas experimentales realizadas con diferentes t\u00e9cnicas (ombroscop\u00eda, pda).  los resultados de las comparaciones muestran que los chorros pulsados, tanto gaseosos como bif\u00e1sicos, tienen, a nivel macrosc\u00f3pico, un comportamiento similar, encontr\u00e1ndose la principal diferencia entre estos tipos de chorro en sus \u00e1ngulos de apertura. Por otra parte, la comparaci\u00f3n con los resultados del c\u00e1lculo y las medidas de velocidad de gotas con pda muestran que las distribuciones de velocidad medidas en el chorro tambi\u00e9n son
