El tratamiento con 5% de co2 y films de polietileno mantienen la calidad en melocotones \u00abcatherina\u00bb. El calentamiento intermitente provoca p\u00e9rdida de calidad y aumenta la madurez. Las cerezas \u00abbouelat\u00bb y \u00abstarking\u00bb pueden ser almacenadas entre 14 y 21 d\u00edas respectivamente usando films polim\u00e9ricos pplus-pa160 y pa 90. El uso de la pre-refrigeraci\u00f3n mantiene mejor la calidad. Los films polim\u00e9ricos pplus-pa 160 y los tratamientos con co2 mantienen la calidad de las ciruelas, controlan la desintegraci\u00f3n interna y disminuyen las pudriciones. Las ciruelas \u00abmethley\u00bb y \u00abgiant\u00bb pueden ser almacenadas por 14 d\u00edas en refrigeraci\u00f3n convencional. Las ciruelas \u00abmethley\u00bb tratadas con 5-10% de co2 o films polim\u00e9ricos pueden ser almacenadas por 56 d\u00edas, mientras las ciruelas \u00abgiant\u00bb con 10-20% de co2 o films de polietileno, pueden conservarse 42 d\u00edas. En fresones los films polim\u00e9ricos pplus-pa 160, pplus-pa 120 y pplus-pa 90, el polietileno de baja densidad y la atm\u00f3sfera controlada (20-25% de co2+5% o2) mantienen la calidad. La atm\u00f3sfera insecticida con 30% de co2+5% de o2 por 10 d\u00edas a 15 grados cent\u00edgrados no provoca la mortalidad total de la mosca del mediterr\u00e1neo. La atm\u00f3sfera con 60% de co2, sin o2, por 11 d\u00edas provoca la mortalidad total de este insecto, pero provoca malos sabores y manchas (por toxicidad al co2) en la
