Este modelo de representaci\u00f3n, llamado lsr\/gsr, es verificado en objetos sint\u00e9ticos y reales, siendo el tiempo de proceso de formaci\u00f3n del modelo significativamente menor que en modelos precedentes. Se presenta un entorno experimental de obtenci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n 3d, utilizando como herramienta base, sensores grf (gray range finder).  a trav\u00e9s del modelo lsr\/gsr se definen dos aplicaciones de car\u00e1cter general.  por una parte, se define un nuevo invariante de forma, que permite actuar como elemento discriminante, y se presenta un algoritmo original que resuelve satisfactoriamente el problema de reconocimiento 3d con un reducido costo computacional. Por otra, se aborda el problema de posicionamiento espacial a trav\u00e9s de un algoritmo eficiente original basado en estructuras intr\u00ednsecas al modelo, lo que supone una mejora en robustez y
