Este sistema utiliza el voltaje por vuelta para el control de la corriente no inductiva generada por ondas de alta frecuencia (lower hybird) y el segundo momento normalizado de la distribuci\u00f3n de corriente del plasma para el control de la corriente en la zona exc\u00e9ntrica del mismo. Estos diagn\u00f3sticos proporcionan medidas y c\u00e1lculos relativamente sencillos que son adecuados para su utilizaci\u00f3n en tiempo real.  se han obtenido modelos para la respuesta del voltaje por vuelta y el segundo momento de la distribuci\u00f3n de corriente a la entrada de potencia de lower hybird, los cuales se han verificado con datos experimentales del jet. Bas\u00e1ndose en estos modelos, se han dise\u00f1ado los sistemas de control del voltaje por vuelta y el segundo momento de forma que se ajusten a un comportamiento prescrito.  el voltaje por vuelta se ha controlado al 66% de reducci\u00f3n en descargas de 2.5 ma. El control del segundo momento de la distribuci\u00f3n de corriente durante el transitorio de subida de la corriente del plasma ha contribuido a un incremento del 60% en el n\u00famero de reacciones
