Estas terminales se localizan en la capa plexiforme interna (cpi) de la retina. En estad\u00edos tempranos del desarrollo de la retina, la cpi aparece ya estratificada incluso antes de que se haya producido la apertura parpebral en el animal. Es all\u00ed d\u00f3nde neurotransmisores como el gaba y dopamina, liberados por las c\u00e9lulas amacrinas, junto a iones como el k y ca, implicados en mecanismos de despolarizaci\u00f3n celular en condiciones de visi\u00f3n diurna, nos llevan a proponer un modelo de modulaci\u00f3n de la transmisi\u00f3n sin\u00e1ptica a este nivel. La prote\u00edna quinasa c (pkc) presente en estas c\u00e9lulas estar\u00eda tambi\u00e9n implicada en este modelo: la despolarizaci\u00f3n celular provoca una entrada masiva de ca a trav\u00e9s de canales tipo l en la c\u00e9lula bipolar. El ca facilita la activaci\u00f3n de la pkc y la liberaci\u00f3n de neurotransmisor por estas c\u00e9lulas. La dopamina participa tambi\u00e9n en la activaci\u00f3n de la pkc que modula los receptores de gaba (gabac) presentes en la c\u00e9lula aumentando as\u00ed la acci\u00f3n del gaba. Este neurotransmisor bloque la transmisi\u00f3n de la se\u00f1al luminosa mediada por las c\u00e9lulas bipolares de bast\u00f3n durante la visi\u00f3n diurna.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
