Los metodos empleados en la estimacion de su abundancia, estaciones de olor y censos de huellas, mostraron que la poblacion se encuentra mas o menos estabilizada en densidades, similares a las estimadas en un estudio previo 7 a\u00f1os atras, de 1,7ind\/km2. El crecimiento folicular de las hembras comienza a fines de noviembre.  la ovulacion se produce durante la primera semana de enero y el peso de los ovarios comienza a aumentar en diciembre, alcanzando su pico maximo en enero. La tasa de ovulacion fue en promedio de 3.81 y el tama\u00f1o medio de camada, estimado a partir del recuento de embriones y cicatrices placentarias en el utero fue de 3.3. Las hembras de un a\u00f1o de edad, aunque fertiles, nunca criaron. Tanto la estructura de edades como la tabla de vida construida a partir de ella muestran que la poblacion de do\u00f1ana sufre la mayor tasa de mortalidad en la primera clase de edad. Los machos son mas longevos que las hembras, con un maximo observado de 11 a\u00f1os frente a los 6 a\u00f1os de las hembras. En conjunto, los parametros demograficos de esta poblacion, sugieren que esta ha alcanzado, o esta muy proxima a alcanzar, su capacidad de porte.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
