Un primer paso fue estudiar la estabilidad, las causas de la distorsi\u00f3n, tama\u00f1o, forma, flexibilidad y la solubilidad de las diferentes ciclodextrinas libres, para continuar con los polirrotaxanos formados entre polietilenglicol, polipropilenglicol y poli(\u00f3xido de trimetileno) con alfa y beta-ciclodextrina. En este estudio, se calcularon las estequiometr\u00edas, fuerzas de estabilizaci\u00f3n, secuencia de las ciclodextrinas en los complejos, as\u00ed como se realiz\u00f3 un estudio conformacional, tanto de las ciclodextrinas como de los pol\u00edmeros que forman los complejos.
