Angeles <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Desde la \u00f3ptica de la gesti\u00f3n empresarial y en un entorno competitivo, variable y de interconexi\u00f3n mundial, el estudio de la tesis se centra en la dimensi\u00f3n empresarial como factor estrat\u00e9gico que puede aportar capacidad competitiva para el desarrollo y explotaci\u00f3n de innovaciones dirigidas a demandas embrionarias, as\u00ed como para el mantenimiento de la ventaja lograda en caso de \u00e9xito. Su estudio se ha estructurado en torno a cuatro grupos de variables que se consideran generadoras de tama\u00f1o en la empresa: el perfil de capacidad de la empresa innovadora o conjunto de recursos y conocimientos esenciales para la obtenci\u00f3n de ventaja en la estrategia de innovaci\u00f3n; la dimensi\u00f3n organizativa para la innovaci\u00f3n o como una adecuada combinaci\u00f3n de los recursos necesarios puede dar lugar a capacidades que constituyan ventaja para la innovaci\u00f3n; la diversificaci\u00f3n y su influencia en la estrategia de innovaci\u00f3n, tratando aparte un caso particular de esta \u00faltima, la integraci\u00f3n vertical, que por tratarse de una diversificaci\u00f3n hacia negocios que forman parte de la misma cadena de valor del producto innovador, presenta peculiaridades que hacen merezca ser tratada con mayor profundidad.
