El primero aborda una aproximaci\u00f3n biogr\u00e1fica al desarrollo intelectual de peter drucker, desde los primeros escritos y \u00abel nacimiento de un pensador\u00bb en el per\u00edodo de 1939-1950 hasta sus obras principales. Se realiza tambi\u00e9n un breve escuro en un \u00e1rea normalmente poco tratada por los comentaristas de la obra de drucker, como es su inter\u00e9s por la literatura y en concreto las varias novelas que escribi\u00f3. Como en tantos otros casos, esta producci\u00f3n aparentemente no cient\u00edfica revela en muchas ocasiones claves fundamentales para el entendimiento de un autor, y en este sentido es particularmente interesante que se haya abordado en un ep\u00edgrafe propio.  en el segundo cap\u00edtulo est\u00e1 referido a la teor\u00eda de la sociedad en drucker, desde la crisis del homo oeconomicus, a trav\u00e9s de una cr\u00edtica del mercantilismo y del papel del mercado, hasta la descripci\u00f3n del sistema industrial con su instituci\u00f3n central, la corporaci\u00f3n o gran empresa moderna. En este cap\u00edtulo se desarrolla con detalle en qu\u00e9 medida la tensi\u00f3n dial\u00e9ctica entre libertad y poder, y el intento de superarla en una s\u00edntesis creadora nueva, es la clave del arco que explica toda la construcci\u00f3n de la teor\u00eda y pr\u00e1ctica del management de drucker.  en el tercer cap\u00edtulo se analiza la teor\u00eda de la corporaci\u00f3n: la corporaci\u00f3n como organizaci\u00f3n humana y como instituci\u00f3n social, as\u00ed como las relaciones entre la empresa como organizaci\u00f3n humana y la sociedad en su conjunto. La tesis b\u00e1sica de drucker es que la corporaci\u00f3n ha de estar organizada de tal forma que cumpla con sus obligaciones sociales al procurar su propio inter\u00e9s.
