Maestro de profesi\u00f3n, considerado al mismo tiempo pedagogo, no fue consciente en su tiempo, de que pod\u00eda ser tratado tambi\u00e9n de psicopedagogo. Su idea contemplaba: -a los alumnos. -A la instituci\u00f3n escolar y su estructura. -A los profesionales de la ense\u00f1anza, tanto en su organizaci\u00f3n, como en su instrucci\u00f3n y personalidad. Insisti\u00f3 en los aspectos pedag\u00f3gicos, incluidos en las teor\u00edas filos\u00f3ficas y est\u00e9ticas del movimiento \u00abnoucentista\u00bb, y en los aspectos psicol\u00f3gicos, en especial con su \u00abvida social\u00bb, donde valoraba la capacidad de autocontrol y la voluntad, el tratamiento de las dificultades educativas y la intervenci\u00f3n ante alumnos y ense\u00f1antes.  en resumen, pere verg\u00e9s, el psicopedagogo, ense\u00f1aba a ni\u00f1os y maestros, ten\u00eda y aplicaba su propio sistema educativo, al tiempo que contemplaba la necesidad de trabajar en equipo, tanto en los aspectos pedag\u00f3gicos, como psicol\u00f3gicos, para llegar a lo que llamaba la persona integral.
