Neus <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los nutrientes son los factores tr\u00f3ficos m\u00e1s importantes para las levaduras y su limitaci\u00f3n provoca una detenci\u00f3n del ciclo en la fase g1. Esta respuesta de adaptaci\u00f3n a los cambios nutricionales del medio asegura la m\u00e1xima viabilidad de la c\u00e9lula y permite el inicio de diferentes procesos de diferenciaci\u00f3n seg\u00fan las condiciones nutricionales.  el ciclo celular de saccharomyces cerevisiae est\u00e1 regulado en diferentes puntos por mecanismos de control interno que aseguran la proliferaci\u00f3n sin ninguna anomal\u00eda en los diferentes procesos celulares. Al final de la fase g1, si las condiciones nutricionales son \u00f3ptimas, se adquiere el compromiso de continuar el ciclo hasta la pr\u00f3xima fase g1. La v\u00eda de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n de limitaci\u00f3n de nutrientes esenciales como la fuente de nitr\u00f3geno, a\u00fan no hab\u00eda sido determinada. Hemos estudiado la regulaci\u00f3n de las ciclinas de fase g1 en el modelo de limitaci\u00f3n de la fuente de nitr\u00f3geno i hemos demostrado que la prote\u00edna cln3 est\u00e1 regulada post- transcripcionalmente de dos formas diferentes: mayor inestabilidad dependiente de la v\u00eda de la ubiquitina e inhibici\u00f3n traduccional que provoca la total desaparici\u00f3n de cln3, causando as\u00ed la represi\u00f3n de genes dependientes de sbf y mbf en la siguiente fase g1. La presencia de sic1, inhibidor de los complejos clb\/cdc28, permite explicar en t\u00e9rminos moleculares la detenci\u00f3n en g1.  en condiciones de limitaci\u00f3n nutricional las c\u00e9lulas diploides tambi\u00e9n detienen su ciclo en g1, pero inician un proceso diferenciador llamado meiosis, que implica la replicaci\u00f3n del dna, dos divisiones mei\u00f3ticas y la formaci\u00f3n de las esporas como unidades de resistencia a condiciones adversas. La prote\u00edna ime1 es la principal inductora de todos los procesos de meiosis y activa la expresi\u00f3n del primer grupo de genes que participan en la replicaci\u00f3n premei\u00f3tica del dna y en la profase.
