La ventilaci\u00f3n natural es la forma m\u00e1s sencilla y econ\u00f3mica de reducir y optimizar la temperatura del aire interior del invernadero.  a pesar de su gran importancia, no se conoce todav\u00eda con la suficiente precisi\u00f3n la ventilaci\u00f3n de los invernaderos con cubierta de pl\u00e1stico caracter\u00edsticos de los pa\u00edses de la zona mediterr\u00e1nea.  en esta tesis se analiza la ventilaci\u00f3n natural de los invernaderos multit\u00fanel y se eval\u00faa el impacto que supone la incorporaci\u00f3n de mallas anti-insecto y de sombreo sobre la tasa de ventilaci\u00f3n.  los resultados experimentales, han permitido diferenciar claramente la ventilaci\u00f3n en funci\u00f3n de la direcci\u00f3n del viento exterior, obteni\u00e9ndose diferencias significativas en funci\u00f3n de si el aire incide de cara a las ventanas (barlovento) o de espaldas a \u00e9stas (sotavento). Tambi\u00e9n se ha cuantificado el descenso de la tasa de ventilaci\u00f3n que supone la incorporaci\u00f3n de mallas en las ventanas, de forma que en la mayor\u00eda de los casos se desaconseja su uso al no alcanzarse las recomendaciones m\u00ednimas de renovaci\u00f3n del aire del invernadero.  simult\u00e1neamente se han contrastado dos m\u00e9todos de c\u00e1lculo de la tasa de ventilaci\u00f3n, el m\u00e9todo del gas trazador y el del balance de energ\u00eda, obteni\u00e9ndose muy buenos resultados con el primero mientras que, por el contrario, el m\u00e9todo del balance de energ\u00eda presenta grandes errores para velocidades del viento exterior superiores a 2 ms-1.  finalmente se han determinado las caracter\u00edsticas de flujo de las aperturas de los invernaderos multit\u00fanel con y sin mallas. Este hecho, ha permitido obtener modelos sencillos que cuantifican con gran precisi\u00f3n la tasa de ventilaci\u00f3n de un invernadero multit\u00fanel con y sin mallas conociendo \u00fanicamente la
