El proceso de reclutamiento se ha considerado como una serie de etapas de la vida de la planta (semilla, plantula, juvenil y adulto), conectadas por proceso de transici\u00f3n (dispersi\u00f3n, predaci\u00f3n, germinaci\u00f3n) que dependen de la interacci\u00f3n de caracter\u00edsticas de la planta (p. Es.: Su tama\u00f1o) con factores bi\u00f3ticos (dispersantes, predadores &#8230;) Y abi\u00f3ticos (temperatura, humedad, luz &#8230;) Del entorno. El periodo m\u00e1s delicado en la vida del individuo es su primer a\u00f1o como plantula. En este primer a\u00f1o murieron el 100%, 92% y 99%. De las plantulas nacidas en 3 cohortes consecutivas, principalmente a causa de estr\u00e9s h\u00eddrico.  la din\u00e1mica inter-anual de reclutamiento depende de las condiciones h\u00eddricas de cada a\u00f1o. El patr\u00f3n espacial de reclutamiento depende de procesos de facilitaci\u00f3n por parte de otros arbustos del matorral, ya que el reclutamiento fue casi nulo en lugares sin cobertura arbustiva o bajo acebuches adultos. Finalmente, el tama\u00f1o del individuo en cada etapa (semilla y plantula) afecta a su probabilidad de supervivencia. Las semillas m\u00e1s dispersadas pero son las que menos probabilidad tuvieron de dar lugar a un nuevo individuo en la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
