Se han desarrollado cuatro unidades did\u00e1cticas sobre el electromagnetismo y se han comparado los rendimientos producidos por la metodolog\u00eda constructivista con los producidos por la expositivo-habitual en tres campos de aprendizaje: \u00abhechos\/conceptos\/principios\u00bb, habilidades intelectuales en el \u00e1mbito de la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica y estrategias cognitivas en la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas. Tambi\u00e9n se ha averiguado si la metodolog\u00eda interacciona con cuatro caracter\u00edsticas de los alumnos&gt; sexo, estudios previos, nivel de inteligencia y capacidad de razonamiento. Por \u00faltimo se compara el nivel de cambio conceptual entre las metodolog\u00edas entendido como el n\u00famero de concepciones err\u00f3neas superadas, el trabajo adem\u00e1s aporta una revisi\u00f3n de los principales modelos de ense\u00f1anza destinados a facilitar un aprendizaje significativo y una amplia relaci\u00f3n de investigaciones sobre concepciones previas en el campo del
