La secuencia de su extremo amino terminal fue: gly-gly-ala-ala- pro-gly-gly-pro-gly-ala-his-pro-leu-trp-leu-pro-ala-gly-lys-asp. la enzima presento una km de 7.0 mm frente a cpc y de 8.3 mm frente a 7 -aca; se trata de una carboxilesterasa del tipo alfabeta-est sensible a dfp, no termoestable. La formaci\u00f3n de la enzima no se vio reprimida por glucosa ni por iones amonio, pero si se observo una actividad mayor en los cultivos cuando se controla el ph del cultivo a 7.0. Tambien se detecto actividad cah en otras cepas de nocardia lactamdurans siendo la actividad independiente de la producci\u00f3n de cefamicina c. la secuencia de la zona adyacente a la agrupaci\u00f3n de genes de cefamicina c, revelo la presencia de 3 marcos de lectura, orf14,orf15 y orf16. Orf14 codifica una proteina de mr deducido de 54.3 kda que muestra similitud con hidroxilasas que intervienen en la biosintesis de antibioticos poliquetidos. Orf15 tiene un mr deducido de 30.7 kda y muestra similitud con n-acetil transferasa implicadas en la acetilacion de antibioticos de la familia de la estreptotricina. El marco de lectura orf16 no se encuentra completo y la proteina que codifica no presenta similitud con otras proteinas de las bases de datos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
