obtener informaci\u00f3n en la generaci\u00f3n y mantenimiento de la variaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica de strs en poblaciones humanas.  el an\u00e1lisis de 20 strs autosbomicos: hprt, d3s1358, th01, acpp, vwf, d16s310 d4s243, tpo, fes\/fps, f13a1, dhfrp2, d11s2010, d135767, d95926, d251328, d145306, d185848, d55818, d75820 y fga, en 16 poblaciones de 5 continentes ha puesto de manifiesto la inportancia de la deriva gen\u00e9tica en la generaci\u00f3n de la variaci\u00f3n de strs en las poblaciones humanas actuales, a la vez que refuerza la teoria del origen \u00fanico del hombre moderno.  el an\u00e1lisis de 9 strs del cromosoma y: d4519, d45388, d45389 i\/ii, d45390 d45391, d45392, d45393 y d45385 en dos poblaciones ib\u00e9ricas y 4 poblaciones de asia central ha permitido constatar diferencias migratorias entre hombres y mujeres en algunas poblaciones.  este estudio refuerza la validez de los polimorfisdos del cromosona y para el an\u00e1lisis de la variaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica
