En estos citratos, m2+ est\u00e1 coordinado al citrato desprotonado y el litio act\u00faa como contrai\u00f3n. La adici\u00f3n de peque\u00f1as cantidades de boro en licoo2, modifica las propiedades el\u00e1sticas de la matriz y mejora el comportamiento electroqu\u00edmico de las bater\u00edas. en los \u00f3xidos lini1-ycoyo2, ocurre una redistribuci\u00f3n cati\u00f3nica con la temperatura de s\u00edntesis, seg\u00fan los resultados de rmn-gam de 6li y rpe de ni3+, y la reversibilidad de la extracci\u00f3n e inserci\u00f3n electroqu\u00edmica del litio se incrementa. Las bater\u00edas con mayor contenido en n\u00edquel que ecn cobalto, para c\u00e1tados obtenidos a 750\u00c2\u00bac, poseen mayor capacidad reversible que las que poseen mayor contenido en cobalto. La destilaci\u00f3n por v\u00eda qu\u00edmica, mejora la reversibilidad de estos c\u00e1tados.
