Para llevar a cabo este objetivo se seleccionaron dos lagunas, gallocanta (arag\u00f3n) y salines (alicante), y se siguieron dos fases.  la primera fue la puesta a punto de una metodolog\u00eda de an\u00e1lisis. Esta se hizo en base a la caracterizaci\u00f3n geoqu\u00edmica del acu\u00edfero, a la caracterizaci\u00f3n de los gradientes ambientales que controlan la mineralog\u00eda de los sedimentos lacustres, a partir de los an\u00e1lisis de ordenaci\u00f3n (an\u00e1lisis factoriales, de correspondencias y de correspondencias detrenados), a la determinaci\u00f3n de la secuencia mineral\u00f3gica durante las fases de relleno y de secado de la laguna, y en base al establecimiento de las oscilaciones del nivel lacustre a partir de las caracter\u00edsticas mineral\u00f3gicas de las muestras.  la segunda fase fue la contrastaci\u00f3n del m\u00e9todo establecido. En funci\u00f3n de la escala temporal de las reconstrucciones se han comparado con el registro instrumental meteorol\u00f3gico (gallocanta) y con resgistros paleoclim\u00e1ticos globales (salines). Las conclusiones de esta tesis pueden subdividirse en dos grupos: un primer de tipo metodol\u00f3gico, donde queda patente que es posible utilizar este tipo de registros como archivos paleoclim\u00e1ticos, siempre y cuando haya un adecuado control temporal, y un segundo grupo de tipo paleoclim\u00e1tico.
