Gonzalez Rodriguez <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se establece una parcela experimental en el bosque de laurisilva de agua garc\u00eda, realizando estudios estructurales para determinar el n\u00famero, tama\u00f1o y distribuci\u00f3n de las principales especies de \u00e1rboles as\u00ed como de las caracter\u00edsticas morfol\u00f3gicas y fisiol\u00f3gicas de sus hojas a lo largo del perfil vertical del bosque, calculando su \u00edndice de \u00e1rea foliar. Se realizan ciclos diarios de intercambio gaseoso a lo largo de un a\u00f1o, en \u00e1rboles adultos de laurus azorica, persea indica y myrica faya, utilizando una torre de 20 m. Para acceder tanto a las hojas de sol como de sombra, y facilitando la instalaci\u00f3n de una estaci\u00f3n metereol\u00f3gica con registro cont\u00ednuo de los principales factores. A partir de los datos obtenidos con estas medidas se calcula la fotos\u00edntesis y transpiraci\u00f3n m\u00e1xima de cada especie y su variaci\u00f3n a lo largo del a\u00f1o, as\u00ed como su eficiencia en el uso del agua y la respuesta de la fotos\u00edntesis a la luz, temperatura y conductancia estom\u00e1tica. Tambi\u00e9n y en combinaci\u00f3n con medidas de laboratorio se muestra la influencia de la fotorrespiraci\u00f3n (con electrodo de ox\u00edgeno) y de la fotoinhibici\u00f3n realizando medidas combinadas de fluorescencia de la clorofila, con determinaci\u00f3n de pigmentos y antioxidantes.
