Jes\u00fas Hernandez Jimenez <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En los n\u00f3dulos de lupino, la senescencia inducida por oscuridad se asemeja a la senescencia natural en aspectos relacionados con el metabolismo oxidativo y alteraciones ultraestructurales.  la actividad espec\u00edfica super\u00f3xido dismutasa (sod) aumenta en senescencia. La producci\u00f3n de per\u00f3xido de hidr\u00f3geno a trav\u00e9s de la reacci\u00f3n catalizada por la sod, no est\u00e1 coordinada con la eliminaci\u00f3n del mismo por los enzimas ascorbato peroxidasa y catalasa, ya que las actividades de estos \u00faltimos disminuyen con la senescencia. Adem\u00e1s, desciende el contenido de ascorbato total y disminuye el cociente glutation reducido\/glutation oxidado, indicando un incremento en la tasa de producci\u00f3n de especies activas de ox\u00edgeno (aos).  los aumentos de actividad sod, glutation reductasa y peroxidasa podr\u00edan considerarse como marcadores de senescencia en los n\u00f3dulos de lupino. Durante la senescencia, el contenido de hierro catal\u00edtico aumenta, y adem\u00e1s, el contenido de grupos carbonilo se increment\u00f3, lo que indica que se produce da\u00f1o oxidativo a prote\u00ednas, y por tanto, la implicaci\u00f3n de aos.
