Montserrat Gomez Gomez <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Entre los efectos beneficiosos del ejercicio f\u00edsico se encuentra la disminuci\u00f3n de la agregaci\u00f3n plaquetaria, cuyo mecanismo es a\u00fan desconocido. El entrenamiento aer\u00f3bico (ciclismo, marat\u00f3n) produce un aumento del \u00e1cido araquid\u00f3nico (c20:4) y una disminuci\u00f3n del \u00e1cido linoleico (c18:2) siendo el c20:4 sintetizado a partir del c18:2 (esencial) y adem\u00e1s es el precursor de agregantes y desagregantes plaquetarios. Los cambios hormonales que acontecen durante la pr\u00e1ctica de ejercicio f\u00edsico podr\u00edan ser los responsables de la regulaci\u00f3n de las enzimas desaturasas y elongasas que catalizan la conversi\u00f3n de c18:2 en c20:4. Para dilucidar este t\u00e9rmino, se aislaron hepatocitos de rata y se incubaron en presencia de concentraciones saturantes de c18:2 y de diferentes concentraciones de las hormonas que se modifican con el ejercicio. Se analizaron a continuaci\u00f3n las concentraciones de diferentes \u00e1cidos grasos entre ellos c18:2 y c20:4, demostr\u00e1ndose cambios significativos (disminuci\u00f3n de c20:4).
