Var. Castellana). Este adnc presenta una alta homolog\u00eda con acc oxidasas de diferentes especies de plantas y su expresi\u00f3n heter\u00f3loga en e.Coli induce una prote\u00edna de 38 kda que es reconocida por un anticuerpo obtenido frente a la acc oxidasa de manzana. Los extractos de bacterias que expresan dicha prote\u00edna presentan actividad acc oxidasa in vitro. Por todo ellos podemos afirmar que caaco1 codifica a una acc oxidasa de garbanzo.  se obtiene una igg monoespec\u00edfica frente a la acc oxidasa (38 kda) y se utiliza para los experimentos de inmunolocalizaci\u00f3n en ejes embrionarios. Los resultados demuestran una doble ubicaci\u00f3n de esta prote\u00edna:  extracelular (apoplasto y pared celular) e intracelular (citosol), no encontr\u00e1ndose evidencias de una localizaci\u00f3n vacuolar. El abordaje del mecanismo de transporte de la acc oxidasa a trav\u00e9s del plasmalema est\u00e1 siendo dise\u00f1ado.  se aisla, a partir de arn de ejes embrionarios de semillas de garbanzo, un adnc que codifica a una posible acc sintasa. Este adnc muestra una elevada homolog\u00eda con otras secuencias de acc sintasa de plantas.  mediante an\u00e1lisis gen\u00f3mico se demuestra que la acc oxidasa y acc sintasa est\u00e1n representadas en cicer arietinum por una familia multig\u00e9nica.  el transcrito para la acc oxidasa no es espec\u00edfico de semillas ya que se ha encontrado en otros \u00f3rganos de la planta siendo su nivel de expresi\u00f3n diferente. La mayor abundancia de arnm se encuentra en tallos, hojas maduras y flores.  durante la embriog\u00e9nesis zig\u00f3tica de semillas de garbanzo se desencadena la producci\u00f3n de etileno, estando implicadas tanto la acc sintasa como la acc oxidasa. Sin embargo, el nivel de expresi\u00f3n de ambos genes permanece pr\u00e1cticamente inalterado a lo largo del proceso embriog\u00e9nico, lo que sugiere que la inducci\u00f3n de ambas enzimas es a
