Procedimiento contempor\u00e1neo al nacimiento de la fotograf\u00eda; momento historico en el que la gran cantidad de experimentaciones en busca de sistemas de reproducci\u00f3n gr\u00e1fica supone un campo de alto inter\u00e9s investigador y aporta un cambio radical en cuanto a concepto y a finalidad de la imagen impresa.  el estudio se estructura en una primera parte de sustentaci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica-conceptual y en una segunda pr\u00e1ctica se plantea el desarrollo t\u00e9cnico.  para fundamentar el estudio se analizan las relaciones:  ciencia, arte y tecnolog\u00eda, la historia del grabado del xv al xx y la fotograf\u00eda como antecedentes y contexto del heliograbado y el fotograbado como compendio de procesos paralelos.  en el aspecto t\u00e9cnico se revisa la construcci\u00f3n del heliograbado, el soporte, el granulado de la plancha, su mordido, el retoque, la estampaci\u00f3n y la impresi\u00f3n en colores.  esta tesis viene a despertar del letargo un proceso de alto inter\u00e9s como base para la manipulaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica y a reafirmar una l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n s\u00f3lida en la revisi\u00f3n de los primeros procesos
