Se ha demostrado que la translocaci\u00f3n de exg1p es postraduccional, dependiente de sec62p y sec63p. Se postula que exg1p atraviesa la membrana del re a trav\u00e9s de un poro distinto al formado por el complejo sec61p, formado por las proteinas ssh1p, sbh2p y sss1p. Por otra parte, se ha demostrado que su plegamiento depende del potencial redox del re, la chaperonina kar2p, el prop\u00e9ptido y el carbohidrato. Por \u00faltimo; hemos demostrado que el mutante alg1 incubado a 37 grados c. Es capaz de transferir quitobiosa desde el intermediario dolicol-pp-quitobiosa a los sitios potenciales de n-glicosilaci\u00f3n de exg1p; y por lo tanto que este intermediario puede ser sustrato de la
