Dolores <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La secuenciaci\u00f3n del fago ja13 aislado de una genoteca gen\u00f3mica de h. Polymorpha en el fago embl3 y que contiene los genes que codifican la nitrato reductasa (ynr1) y la nitrato reductasa (yni1), revel\u00f3 la presencia de una pauta abierta de lectura de 1524 pb que presenta gran homolog\u00eda con los genes de los transportadores de nitrato de aspergillus nidulans (crna) y chlamydomonas reinhardtii (nrt1;1). esta pauta abierta de lectura se denomin\u00f3 ynt1 (gen del transportador de nitrato de h. Polymorpha. La interrupci\u00f3n de este gen resulta en una disminuci\u00f3n importante en la tasa de toma de nitrato. La secuencia aminoac\u00eddica deducida de ynt1 presenta una gran similitud con las correspondientes deducidas de los genes aislados en el hongo a, nidulans, el alga c. Reinhardtii y las plantas h. Vulgare y n. Plumbaginifolia. Esta similitud es m\u00e1s patente en el extremo amino terminal.  la expresi\u00f3n del gen del transportador de nitrato es estrictamente dependiente de la presencia de nitrato en el medio. Las secuencias promotoras implicadas en esta expresi\u00f3n se encuentran localizadas en una amplia zona. se ha obtenido un antisuero anti-ynt1p usando como ant\u00edgeno la zona central hidrof\u00edlica de la prote\u00edna.
