O caso franc\u00e9s, consta de dos partes la primera recoge el marco te\u00f3rico y conceptual del interculturalismo y del fen\u00f3meno hist\u00f3rico social de la emigraci\u00f3n mientras, que en la segunda parte desarrolla un estudio de campo de la primera y segunda generaci\u00f3n de emigrantes en francia.  el objetivo era el de conocer la problem\u00e1tica educativa, social y cultural de los emigrantes espa\u00f1oles, y particularmente de los gallegos en francia, en un momento decisivo como el actual en el que se est\u00e1 a construir la uni\u00f3n europea. Y como este proceso de construcci\u00f3n denominado nueva europa puede afectar a las relaciones con la tierra de origen de los ausentes, tanto de los emigrantes de la primera generaci\u00f3n como de los de sus descendientes.  el estudio constata que el emigrante espa\u00f1ol en francia nunca perdio su vinculaci\u00f3n con la comunidad de origen, espa\u00f1a. Estos lazos se hacen m\u00e1s palpables cuando se constata la permanente demanda y reinvindicaci\u00f3n de estructuras y medios para la transmisi\u00f3n de la cultura espa\u00f1ola a las nuevas
