Concepcion Muro Lupori <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El estudio electrofisiol\u00f3gico comparativo de los canales mitocondriales de conductancia m\u00faltiple mcc y sensible a p\u00e9ptidos psc de la cepa de levaduras carente de vdac m22-2-1, pone de manifiesto que ambos canales son indistinguibles. En cambio, la digesti\u00f3n proteol\u00edtica controlada de las membranas mitocondriales nos permite distinguir estas dos actividades de canal. Utilizando como marcadores de la orientaci\u00f3n anticuerpos frente a prote\u00ednas intr\u00ednsecas de las membranas externa e interna hemos podido concluir que al menos en el 85% de las prote\u00ednas de la membrana interna y en el 75% de las de la externa, la orientaci\u00f3n de las prote\u00ednas es id\u00e9ntica a la que presenta en el sistema nativo de mitocondrias. Por otro lado, las modificaciones estructurales llevadas a cabo en los complejos transportadores de prote\u00ednas nos permiten concluir que tom40 forma parte fundamental del canal psc y reconocemos as\u00ed esta actividad como el poro translocador de prote\u00ednas de la membrana externa, cuya actividad estar\u00eda regulada directamente por tom22.
